DafriBank Limited Appoints a New Chief Executive Officer
We are pleased to announce Ramaswamy Easwaran as the new Chief Executive Officer of DafriBank Limited. Mr. Ramaswamy Easwaran will be taking up the charge with effect from 1st September 2020. As a banker, Mr. Easwaran has had an illustrious career spanning 18 years and is also an award-winning performer.
In the past, Mr. Easwaran has worked for some Bluechip banking institutes including HSBC, ABN Amro, BNP Paribas, and IndusInd Bank. His role spanned multiple fields of the banking business and across some core verticals like management, product rollout in the payments, and corporate banking channels. His portfolio also includes supervising end to end product management and playing lead roles in the fields of operations, solutions delivery, deal structuring, and business management.
He spearheaded the various planes of strategy, business development, and external bench-marking. In his career, he was also involved with enhancing operational efficiency and conducting operational audits. He led multiple successful projects in core banking and was instrumental in integrating the bank’s internal system with the Fintech service providers. He was also awarded as the best product manager for the successful implementation of the project.
Mr. Easwaran holds an accounting degree and his major studies include Accounting, Economics, Taxation, and Audit. In addition, he also holds an ACMA degree awarded by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). His other qualifications include Scrum Foundation Certificate (SFC) from ScrumStudy and certifications in the fields of Blockchain Technology, Data Analytics, and Artificial intelligence.
